What is the Wonderlic Ability to Benefit Test?

The Ability-To-Benefit test is a timed cognitive ability test given by the admissions departments of educational institutions to evaluate prospective students. They are given primarily to students who did not complete their high school education but still show potential at a secondary education level. The Wonderlic Ability to Benefit test is designed to evaluate these specific individuals and further inform the educational institute on their decision on whether or not to admit the student.

The test primarily measures math and verbal skills, and the test administrators are given verbal and quantitative scores of their test takers. Both verbal and quantitative scores range from 0-500 and minimums of 200 for verbal and 210 for quantitative are recommended. Test administrators are also given the strengths and weaknesses of each test taker and an overall evaluation and recommendation of the test taker. The test can be taken in both English and Spanish.
