Isaiah Simmons of Clemson has decided to forgo his senior season and enter the NFL Draft. Simmons will likely be the top linebacker taken at the 2020 NFL Draft. The 6’4″ 230 lb. junior had 104 tackles this past season, including 67 solo tackles, 7 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 3 interceptions. Simmons will likely be a consistent starter in a linebacker slot for several upcoming seasons in the NFL.

The Wonderlic test has been a component of the NFL Scouting Combine for over 40 years. The test was originally used by legendary Cowboys coach Tom Landry as part of their player evaluation and was eventually adopted around the league. While there is still plenty of debate about the value of the Wonderlic, it still seems to make the headlines each year around the Combine and NFL Draft.
